It’s what we do…..
Supporters Funded Projects
The Supporters Club have provided funds in excess of £30,000 to Spennymoor Town Football Club over the years. Take a look below at just some of the projects we have helped fund….
Hard Plastic Pint Glasses
Supporters Club Officials Norman Dale & Tony Cairns join Football Club MD Ian Geldard at the Launch.
Thanks to sponsorship from the Supporters Club, fans can now enjoy their drinks in the stands using these splendid hard plastic glasses. Emblazoned with the club colours and the Supporters Club logo, they provide a durable and stylish upgrade from the flimsy alternatives previously used. These glasses not only enhance the matchday experience but also help reduce waste and breakages, making them a practical and eco-friendly choice for supporters.
£4125 for Pitch Heaters
The Supporters Club responded promptly to a request from the football club to provide the necessary funds to complete the purchase of pitch heaters. These heaters are essential for the ground’s maintenance team, allowing them to effectively treat problem areas such as the goal mouths. By using this equipment, the team can maintain the pitch in optimal condition, ensuring better playing surfaces even during colder months. This investment not only helps preserve the quality of the pitch but also contributes to safer and more consistent playing conditions for the players.
Are you Game Ready?
The Football Club Physiotherapist approached the Supporters Club with a request to fund a piece of specialist equipment designed to accelerate recovery from minor injuries between games. This device plays a crucial role in helping players return to peak condition more quickly, reducing downtime and enhancing overall team performance. Recognising its importance, the Supporters Club was pleased to contribute £2,750 to cover the cost of this valuable purchase, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to supporting the health and wellbeing of the players.
Brewery Field Seats
Did you know that the Supporters Club has twice provided funds totaling over £8,000 to pay for seating at Brewery Field? This financial support was crucial as Spennymoor Town FC progressed rapidly up the football pyramid, necessitating compliance with ground regulations. These improvements not only ensured the club met league requirements but also enhanced the comfort and experience for fans attending the matches.
