How To Play

To enter Last Man Standing: Contact Gary on: 07712 468 202 with your details and to arrange payment of your £5 entry fee.

Closing date for entry for the first competition is Thursday 6th August 2026 and all entry fees must be paid before this date and time.

The first round of fixtures for this competition will be on the weekend beginning Friday 7th August 2026.

The rules are simple, just pick the winner of one English Premier League match each game week.(Friday to Monday Games Only). If your selection wins then you progress to the next week, lose or draw and you’re out.

Upon entry, participants will be contacted by text message reminding them of the deadline for the first round of games.

After the conclusion of the weekend fixtures participants will be notified by text message to inform them if they are through to the next round, remaining participants will also be reminded of the deadline for the following week’s games.

The organiser accepts no responsibility for late or incomplete entries.

Participants exiting the competition in game week 1 only will have a “Buy Back In” opportunity costing £5.

A list of players’ selection will be posted on the website after kick off of the first weekend fixture.

Rules

Once a selection is made you will have the opportunity to change it up until the deadline.

You may not pick the same team to win more than once during the tournament (unless the tournament progresses past 20 weeks and the remaining competitors have already picked every available team once).

All selections for the forthcoming weekend’s games must be sent by text to Gary on 07712 468 202 the day before the first scheduled fixture of that weekend.

Should you forget to make your selection in any week or select a team you’ve already chosen before, you will automatically be assigned the first Premier League team that you have not already selected in alphabetical order. Once a team is automatically selected, you will not have the ability to change that selection.

In the event that any match involving a team you have selected is postponed or cancelled for any reason, you will continue to the next round. However, that team will no longer be available for you to select.

The prize fund will compromise of 75% of entry fees received, whatever that may be. The remaining 25% of entry fees will go towards providing subsidised away travel.

Should two or more participants remain standing and all are eliminated in the same week, the game will be reset, the Last Man Standing prize pot will roll over and all players will need to buy back in. Likewise if the competition has not have reached a conclusion by the end of the 2025/26 season.

The game will take a break during weekends when the Premier League are affected by International fixtures, FA Cup rounds or when a full list of 10 fixtures isn't scheduled.
